Home Composting in DC: Free help getting started and save up to $75 on a system
Led by ILSR, Loop Closing helped train DC Department of Public Works staff on different aspects of composting as they gear up to support the new Residential Composting Incentives Amendment. It provides a subsidy to residents who start composting at home and free training. The training occurred at the Howard University DPR Community Compost Cooperative, also initiated by Loop Closing, and demonstrated both worm and and hot pile composting systems.
